Hamilton police are seeking the public's help in the search for a convicted sex offender.

Stephen Jones, 57, a psychiatric patient at the West 5th campus of St. Joseph's hospital, was last seen on Friday at 2:40 p.m. He is unlawfully at large and is considered to be a danger to the public.

Jones is described as male, five foot six, approximately 150 lbs., with blue eyes, short grey hair, grey stubble and dentures.

Anyone with information about Jones's whereabouts is asked to call Hamilton police at 905-546-4930 or at 905-546-4931.
