Police investigating Hamilton's 20th traffic fatality of 2012

A Hamilton man who was hit by a car on Friday has died.

Police say a car struck a pedestrian on Binbrook Road near Highway 56 and Hendershot around 10 p.m. Friday night. Crews transported the 54-year-old man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

He was pronounced dead at 5:15 a.m. on Sunday. It was Hamilton's 20th traffic fatality of 2012.

Hamilton police ask witnesses who have not yet spoken with the investigators to contact Det. Const. Matt Hewko at 905-546-4755.
