Pedestrian hit by car has life threatening injuries, police say

A Hamilton man is in intensive care with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on Friday evening, police say.

Around 9 p.m., police received calls that a man had been hit by a car while walking on Binbrook Road.

The man had no vital signs when officers arrived at the scene. Paramedics transported him to Hamilton General Hospital, where they managed to revive him.

He has life-threatening injuries and is currently in intensive care, police say. No charges have yet been laid. The investigation is ongoing.
