Depending on where you live in Hamilton, you might need to take a few extra minutes to scrape the frost off your car before heading to school or work this morning. It's -4 C in the city! That's November for you.
A shout-out to Brendan Kenny of Dundas for running the fastest time in the Hamilton Marathon yesterday. His time: 2 hours and 27 minutes. Congrats to Brendan!
Two notable collisions this morning if you're heading Toronto-bound: a two-car collision on the downside of the Skyway Bridge in the left lane. A multi-vehicle collision on the 403 between Highway 6 and Waterdown around 6:30 a.m. this morning may still be causing a slow-down. No injuries in either incident.
No issues to report on HSR or GO Transit this morning.
On the QEW Toronto-bound at Bronte, a two-car collision in the left lane with an ambulance on scene. Just west of Guelph Line, there is debris in the middle lane at 8:44 a.m.
The 403 Toronto-bound is looking very slow from Garner Road all the way past Waterdown because of that collision mentioned earlier.
In the city, West 5th Street is slow from Mohawk all the way down the access to James Street in the lower city. John Street from the base of the Jolley Cut to to King Street is also slow.
King Street East from Victoria to Dundurn is still moving slowly at 8:45 a.m.

We're in negative temperatures this Monday morning. It's -4 C for your commute to work today, going up to a high of 5 C later on. A low of 2 C overnight.
These low (read: seasonal) temperatures are unique to today. The rest of the week is expected to be a lot warmer. Prepare for a high of 11 C Tuesday.
OPP named the man and woman killed in a car crash Saturday night near Mount Hope. The two occupants of the Honda — David Anderson, 64, and Dulce Bustria, 53, both of Hamilton — were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police ask anyone with information on the crash to call the OPP's Burlington detachment at 905-681-2511.
The city's public works committee is meeting at 9:30 a.m. and our city hall reporter Samantha Craggs will be there. An item to watch: the Hamilton Cycling Committee will present their citizen's report. You can follow Samantha on Twitter at @SamCraggsCBC

As the winter is striking it is dangerous to commute in the morning by cars as the visibility is going to be poor and due to which the chances of accidents will be optimum.
